Ugh!

The Ellertson's Christmas 2009!

The Ellertson's celebrated Christmas a few days early this year and Oh What a Time we had! It was a day filled with lots of laughter a few tears, food, amazing family friends and fun presents to share!!! Our newest addition Chace was so loved on today and we are so thankful to share together in his very first Christmas!  Mya was a ball full of energy and entertained us all while MacKenzie entertained us with her fun spirit and very awesome piano skills! The house was full and Brad and I were so very happy to spend such a great weekend with our family!

Happy Birthday to ALEX!!

My brother turned 30 today!! Whoo hoo! The Frimpong-Ellertson gang took him to a nice steak dinner in Portland!! We had a great time talking and eating..... which is what we ALL do best and sang the old guy a happy happy bday! MacK and Mya got Uncle a cool Jordan Magazine and the rest of us spoiled him with gift cards! Happy Birthday Brotha!!

Bugerville!

Brad was adamant we blog about Mya's very first burgerville cheeseburger! Yesterday, after a fun day of last minute shopping we stopped at burgerville to grab a quick bit to eat! Well, Mya ate half a cheeseburger!! She didn't eat it as fast as Dillon Isaac's eats 4 but maybe one day she may give him a run for his money! Actually, I don't think there is anyone on this entire planet that can eat burgerville burgers as fast as Dillon! HA! Brad was very very proud to introduce one of his most favorite traditions to his youngest child! And even more excited that she LIKED it! So Cool!

Oh and if you wondering why were are eating in the car...its one of the first BV's in the Couve so its old school walk up to window and order and eat outside...but it was too wet to eat outside! hehehhee

Fort Making Masters!

Auntie Crystal was watching the girls for us the other night!! Which by the way she does very many nights! Thanks SISTER!!! Auntie and MacK and Mya had a great time making a fort and I thought I should share it with all of you guys!!! By the end of the night MacK was pretty frustrated with her little sis cause she kept running into the fort and wrecking it!

Its the Most Wonderful Time of the YEAR!

Yep, its Christmas time! Tonight we put our finishing touches on our tree!! And Brad finished putting the lights up on our house( oh wait he never took them down from last year! HA)! It was a fun night of MacKenzie playing DJ on the radio and we rocked out hanging ornaments and enjoying each other! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!! All I can say is God is so good! WISH you all a very merry Christmas!!!

These 2 peas in a pod had a play date yesterday! Poor Mar had to put up with Mya lack of sharing skills( yes brad and I are going to address this)! They played, ate lunch, read books, and played the piano! Fun day! Thanks Na Na Jonnette for bring Marley over!

"Say it aint sooooo"

We had a full house last night! Tommy our cousin made the drive down to come and visit and we had the Hanke's family over too! I think the one highlight of the night was Tommy's singing "say it aint so" on Rock band! His vocal skills are amazing! I dont know if he sounded so good cause he went before and after my Mom who just shouted into the microphone the whole time! She did pretty good for her first time! MacK and Julie were rocking it out on the guitar and drums! It was sure fun to watch!

But the best part was listening to Rachel talk about her trip to Kenya. Sounds like she got to see some amazing sites and meet some great people. God really blessed her trip! Joe and Eka had a great time and Brad and Josh kept us all laughing the whole night. We enjoyed spending time with one of our favorite families! WE LOVE YOU HANKE'S

OH MY Alison!!

Ok, so I am going to talk about a dear friend of mine Alison Fels.... she is by far a person I adore and look up to a ton. She loves me and my family so much that she every year comes out to watch me play, or she comes on soccer trips to watch my children, pretty much she has just been there for me through everything!  But this morning she totally out did herself! I put in a call to her at 11:30pm last night asking if she would wake up and go to Best Buy with me in the morning! She said "sure why not!"  and woke up at an early 3:45am!! We stood in line for about 45 min and we had a great time chatting it up with each other and hanging with people who had been there since 12am! Now those people are crazy! HA! It took us a total of 15 minutes to get in and get what we wanted and get out! Piece of cake!!! Well worth it! Got the goods, spent time with a great friend... couldn't of asked for more! LOVE YOU AL!

What a fun WEEKEND!

This past weekend was a very eventful weekend for the Ellertson Clan! First we got to see our precious cousin/nephew Chace!! He is getting so big! He laughs a ton, and is so cuddly and sweet! Kim and Johnny sure are doing a great job raising that amazing little man!

Up next was watching MacK's team Nemesis take on the older girls in a tournament at starfire complex. They battled hard and ended up wining their 3rd and final game which was so exciting to watch!! GO MACK!

Brad's best friend in the whole wide world Evan got married to the very lovely and beautiful Tara! Tara look absolutely amazing in her dress and Evan was very handsome too. It was a great night of celebrating! One we will never forget! LOVE YOU TARA AND EVAN!!

During the wedding Auntie A watched the 3 cousins, Mya, MacK and Chace and she did awesome! Got them all feed and to bed at a good time and got to spend some good quality time with them! GO AUNTIE A!

And Last but not least Brad, MacK, Mya and I made it to Quest Field to watch the 2009 MLS Finals. Galaxy took on Real Salt Lake! It was a very exciting game that ended up going into PK's. Real Salt Lake came out on top and our children watch every minute! Mya had everyone sitting next to us dying laughing and was such a good 18 month old at the game...GO MYA!

Proud moment for us was Brad got to go out at halftime and help Jimmie Conrad have a guitar hero off against Freddie Montero! Brad had us laughing as him and a friend were there to pump up Conrad to victory! Sorry to say Conrad got his butt kicked by Montero....but still I was very proud of my hubby....GO BRAD!!!

I made the 2.5 hour drive home and the Ellertson crew made it home a little after 12am! LOVE MY FAMILY and love it that we got to spend time with the people that we love very dearly......

Yep thats right our youngest born just potty in her big girl potty! WE are SO PROUD!!! Go girl!! We don't know when she will do it again but we are pretty pumped that she got her first potty on the potty out of the way! What an accomplishment for our 18 month old!! YIPPEE!

Kings Way Christian School

Everyone talks about how they looove being a stay at home mom and its totally true until their kids   start having to go to school all day. MacKenzie wakes up at 7:10 on the dot and Brad or I hang out with her for just 55 minutes before she has to leave to go to school ALL DAY! We don't get her back until 3pm! Thank goodness there is Mya who keeps us pretty busy during those hours or I would just lose it!!! So I just go to school with her! hehehehe!

On this particular school trip she had PE! Yes PE was my most favorite class in school and so I was all smiles watching my eight year old kick bum bum in kick ball! They do it a little different these days..... so you have 2 teams and one team is up to bat( this part is how we used to do it) and after you kick the ball you have to run around the bases and make it to home(again how we used to do it) But the team on the field has to pass the ball to a designated numbered person who then has to shoot in this minni basket placed somewhere in the outfield! If they make the basket before the runner gets to home the runner is out! Pretty fun huh!!

Mr. Dick's 3rd grade girls! They are all very confident and smart, its so cool to see them interact with each other! Pretty good group of girls! Here they are waiting in line for the bathroom after PE!

MacKenzie's BFFF! They have been in the same class at Kings Way for 4 years! Kindergarten through 3rd! So Cute!!

Here is MacKenzie sitting at her desk( which is really organized and clean inside.... I was so proud!) HA! She is loving the 3rd grade.... her favorite subject is math and at recess she enjoys playing bball or tag and she likes to play on the monkey bars too!
